Definition: A longing for far-off places
I chose this word because I think it is a beautiful word that definitely grasps the feeling that many people feel very often. This is also a word that I use in my home because we speak German in my household so this is a word that I can really relate to. I am also a very sentimental person, I often feel nostalgic and long for places far away that I have been to and I miss visiting. For example, I visited Italy and Greece over summer in 2017 and I miss it all the time and really want to go there again. I love this word because it rolls of the tongue and depicts a very relatable feeling.
